Therapies Offered

I use an integrated approach to ensure patients can resolve the core causes of their problems. Included on this page are the three primary modalities that I use in my approach.

 
 

Eye Movement Desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR uses the brain’s natural healing processes to move memories from being stored in a state that causes disturbance into one of peace.


Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS allows for the mind’s unique subsections to communicate more effectively, thus increasing the functioning and stability of one’s mind.


Schema Therapy

Schema therapy helps clients identify and address underlying beliefs they have about themselves and the world that may be causing barriers to change.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

DBT teaches strategies to regulate emotions and, therefore, respond to life circumstances as opposed to reacting.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT can help clients identify negative thought patterns and change them to facilitate healthier behaviors and interactions.


Mindfulness

Mindfulness is also an essential element of my practice. I am trained in mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) and offer individual consultation for mindfulness as well as groups.
